Last May the Leadership Team invited our congregation to participate in the Twelve Scriptures Project. The Twelve Scriptures Project was a group discernment process which invited everyone in our congregation to help identify the twelve most important scripture texts for us as a church. Here are the scriptures which we choose:

Matthew 11:28-30
2 Corinthians 5:17-28
Psalm 100:4
Luke 4:18-19

These twelve scriptures are now being used by the Visioning Team, which was called by our
Gifts Discernment Team, to help us discern God’s mission for our congregation as we move into the future.
The Visioning Team that was called consists of Ruth Collett, Brent Driver, Andrea Keller, Melonie Mottice, Kathe Ward and me. This team has been meeting for a month and is starting to create a mission statement using these texts as a guide.
