Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise;
be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His mercy endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.
Let thankfulness rule in your heart. Take time this month to count all the ways God has blessed you and blessed us. When we take time to count our blessings, a marvelous thing happens to us. It’s as if scales fall off our eyes, enabling us to see more and more the different ways God has richly blessed us.
Each time you receive a blessing from God, let thankfulness sing out praise to God’s name.
“Hallelujahs” are the language of heaven, and they can become the language of our hearts.
A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles and joy. In counting our blessings, a paradigm shift starts to take place and, instead of trying to be in control, we put our focus on God and what God is doing. This is the power of praise and thanksgiving, centering our entire life in God’s goodness. This is how God created us to live. May you enjoy abundant life by allowing your heart to overflow with praise and thankfulness.
