Thank you for visiting the Troy Church of the Brethren website! Whether you are looking for a church home, for information about how to become a Christian or if you just happened across this site, we strive to be a church that meets people where they are in their faith journey.
At the Troy Church of the Brethren, we are here to help you along this journey we call life. We understand that walking into a church can be overwhelming, but we are a church that welcomes everyone no matter their background or beliefs.
It is our hope that we can encourage you, pray for you, challenge you and get to know you better. You are always welcome to join us for Sunday service or one of our groups that meets after hours.

Mission
We are called to live and share God's unconditional love as we continue the work of Jesus by serving all people.
Vision
As we the Troy Church of the Brethren continue to serve God, we will make a profound effort to focus on Christ, the Head of the church and His will for our lives. Through much prayer, devotion and studying God’s Word, we will be open to the Spirit moving in our midst. Through this openness we will love, encourage and support each other in unity. As God transforms us during this process we will reach to those outside our congregation so they too can know God’s love for all.
Beliefs + Values
The central emphasis of the Church of the Brethren is not a creed, but a commitment to follow Christ in simple obedience, to be faithful disciples in the modern world. As do most other Christians, the Brethren believe in God as Creator and loving Sustainer. We confess the Lordship of Christ, and we seek to be guided by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of life, thought and mission.
People often know the Brethren through our ministries of compassion. We respond quickly to need. We send money and volunteers to disaster sites. We support soup kitchens, day-care centers and homeless shelters in our communities. Thousands of people have served around the world through Brethren Volunteer Service.
We believe following Christ means following his example of serving others, healing the broken and bringing new life and hope to the despairing. We take seriously Jesus’ call to love all people, including the “enemy.”
